Plano, IL is located about 55 miles
southwest of Chicago, along the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad
and IL Route 34 -- between Yorkville and Sandwich. It's situated at the
western side of Kendall County
and is adjacent to LaSalle and DeKalb Counties.
It's home to Plano Molding (maker of fishing tackle & storage
boxes), has a large Menards Distribution Center, a YMCA, as well as
a Super WalMart. Current population is around 7,000.
